A Young Woman Engages In Abusive Drinking And Finds Quality Help At An Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic For Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms And Alcoholism Symptoms
Beth was the mother of four children. Beth had been feeling very fretful lately and began to "medicate" herself by having three or four wine coolers every night after she tucked her children into bed. After about eight weeks of this drinking routine, she eventually comprehended the fact that rather than helping her "lighten up" and "muddle through" her problems, drinking alcohol made her feel more restless when she got up in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel even more stressed throughout the .
After reflecting on her "condition" for a week or two, Beth made up her mind to talk about her problem drinking with her closest friend. Indeed, roughly ten minutes into their conversation, Beth's best friend Jordyn, told her that she knew about an extremely experienced and helpful physician at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment facility. After talking to her friend, Beth without delay got encouraged to call the rehab facility and schedule an appointment.
Eight days later she eventually got to meet the physician her best friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth explained to the physician that ever since she and her ex-husband divorced one another, she has been having an extremely difficult time psychologically, financially, and spiritually.
As Beth was talking to the physician, she highlighted the point that she really believed that she and her former husband waited long enough to know one another good enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, to the contrary, their lives appeared to deteriorate. Moreover, both she and Robert began to drink, and their careless and excessive drinking negatively impacted their love for one another, their finances, and their relationship.
The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been going through are due to her abusive and excessive drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the typical symptoms of alcoholism and that the most productive solution for this is alcohol treatment.
After spending six months in residential alcohol treatment, Beth was little by little able to understand that the real origin of her stress and her depression was that she had not gotten to the bottom of her hostile feelings she has expressed for her former husband who divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings distress her to such an extent that she became an alcohol dependent person.
With these insights and with the meds her psychiatrist prescribed, she finally refrained from drinking, she started to feel significantly less depressed, and she started making time for social events with her friends and family. Not only this but a few months after getting treatment from her physician, began to date once again.
It was obvious that Beth had come a long way. Indeed, just about eight months after she stopped her counseling, she had finally laid the harmful emotions of Robert, her ex-husband, to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually "sound" and emotionally "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
