 PGA Catalunya - South Course Par 72 - 7200 yards, North Course Par 72 - 6450 yards
This magnificent complex can only be described as the jewel in the Catalan crown and many golfers will have watched, on television, the top professionals tackle the South course in the Spanish Open. Instigated by the PGA European Tour it took 10 years of planning and construction for the dream to be realised. The obvious attention to detail has resulted in what is already regarded as one of the best courses in the world and it will definitely be a contender as a Ryder Cup venue.
It is not unusual for green fees to be over €150 to play courses of this standard and we are privileged to be able to include it in our golf tours. With natural forested terrain, sweeping doglegs and elevated tees this must be considered as an ultimate challenge and most players will remember the experience for a long time.
All of these courses are supported by excellent clubhouse facilities where golfers can sip a drink, enjoy the view, and relive their achievements shot by shot.
Platja de Pals Golf Club - Par 73 - 6842 yards
 The Wentworth of Catalunya, this is one of Spain’s most prestigious and exclusive clubs and has hosted the Spanish Open, Catalan Open, Spanish amateur and other professional championships. Without doubt Pals is one of the best golf courses in Spain and is used as one of the PGA European Tour Qualifying Schools. It is daunting enough just to stand on the first tee and plan the tee shot. Many of the narrow fairways are lined by pine trees and with difficult to read greens this is a testing course which will suit the accurate golfer. Easy walking and superb facilities. 
Serres de Pals - Par 72 - 6800 yards
This delightful course provides easy walking with gentle hills and pine woods. Many of the generous fairways tempt the golfer to open the shoulders. The combination of excellent par 3's, superbly situated water features and challenging greens ensure a memorable and enjoyable round. The accurate golfer should score well whilst the higher handicap player may be relieved to have this included in their itinerary.
EmpordĂ Golf Club - 36 holes Par 71 and 72 6700 - 6800 yards
Four loops of 9 holes - two 9's are links style with hillocks, water and demanding rough. The other two 9's are set in pine forests with many water features and superb doglegs. This challenging venue is used as a European Tour Qualifier and regularly features in the top 50 in Europe rankings. Fairly easy walking and a joy to play. Superb clubhouse with excellent bar providing snacks and also a first class restaurant.
Peralada Golf Club - Par 71 - 6558 yards
Situated in the north of the region, this is one of the courses used by the PGA Qualifying School and has hosted the Catalunya Open. A fairly flat but testing course with some wonderful golf holes and superb views of the Pyrenees. It is very well maintained and usually in excellent condition. Superb club house facilities and restaurant. 
Torremirona Golf Club - Par 72 -6700 yards
This is the least challenging of the courses with wide fairways and easy walking. It is normally in immaculate condition with memorable holes with numerous bunkers and water features protecting many of the greens. The higher handicap player may be relieved to see this included in their itinerary. Spectacular views of the Pyrenees and excellent facilities help to make this one not to be missed.
Golf d'Aro (Mas Nou) - Par 72 - 6800 yards
Situated in Les Gavarres mountains behind Platja d’Aro overlooking Montseny and the Selva valley, this must rank as one of the most difficult courses in the world. Miss a narrow fairway and your ball will disappear down the mountainside! It is hilly and none but the fittest will manage without a buggy. Only the very best golfers can expect to score well here but the spectacular panoramic views of the Costa Brava make it well worth a visit.
Girona Golf Club - Par 72 - 6813 yards
This course, designed by Fred Hawtree, is set in the hills behind Girona and is scenically attractive with mountain backdrops. Most of the fairways are lined with pines and umbrella trees and the hilly terrain combined with sweeping valleys makes this a very enjoyable if testing course. For the less agile a buggy is recommended. Excellent bar and catering facilities.
Costa Brava Golf Club - Par 70 - 6094 yards
Set in the heart of the EmpordĂ countryside is ideal for golfers of all levels and abilities. With a 250 metre driving range, chipping green and bunker area it is the ideal place for beginners, since handicap certificates are not required. It's the perfect course for golfing greenhorns; yes, even for people whom the closest they've come to the golfing green is playing the sport on consoles or broadband equipped computers. Lessons can be booked with English speaking professionals. The course design includes all kinds of obstacles and magnificent greens. Many golfers practice here either before or after playing the championship courses.
