The Costa Brava is a wonderful dive destination with its rich biodiversity, range of depths, and dive sites to suit all levels of divers from complete beginner to the most experienced.

Did you know that Jacques Cousteau visited the Medes Islands in his marine research vessel Calypso back in 1955? Since that time over 1,345 different marine species have been recorded there and the Medes Islands ecosystem is deservedly classified as the best natural reserve in the western Mediterranean. All the underwater environments to be found in the Mediterranean Sea are represented in the seabed around the Medes Islands, making this little archipelago an area of exceptional ecological value. The Medes Islands have been protected for 20 years and are now included in the Parc Natural del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter, which extends up the coast to L´Escala.

Join us to celebrate WORLD OCEAN DAY 8th June by helping to protect the Mediterranean from litter. At Kenna Eco Diving we will be doing an underwater cleanup dive for Project AWARE and also hiding an amphora for SWIMMERS Treasure Hunts. Come and join the fun!
